Already reduced domestic and international fares have been cut further with a new United Airlines sale. More than 14,000 routes are on sale for travel in the U.S., as well as to Asia, Canada, Europe, Mexico and South America. Travel is valid through June 17 -- with longer travel windows on some international routes. The low fares to/from Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Denver, Chicago, Baltimore, Sydney, Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo and Zurich highlight the sale. Fares are each way based on required roundtrip purchase for United Economy® travel on United Airlines®, Lufthansa and United Express® carriers. Fees are subject to change without notice. Other restrictions may apply. Seats are limited and may not be available on all flights/dates. Tickets for U.S. and Canada destinations must be purchased at least 14 days in advance, tickets to Asia require a 7 day advance, except Japan, which requires a 10 day advance purchase, tickets to Australia and Latin markets do not require an advance purchase, but must ticket no later than 4/5/09. Tickets for Atlantic destinations must be purchased at least 7 days in advance, but no later than 4/15/09. Sale fares apply to U.S. point-of-sale only. Reservations and ticket purchases on united.com must be completed simultaneously. Travel within the U.S. and from the U.S. to Canada, Latin and Atlantic destinations must be complete by 6/17/09. Travel complete to the Pacific varies by region. Travel to Shanghai and Hong Kong is valid through 4/30/09, travel to Beijing must be complete by 5/17/09, travel to Japan must be complete by 8/31/09 and travel to Sydney must be complete by 6/15/09. Domestic travel is valid Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday, other day of week travel will be higher. For travel to Atlantic destinations, a Saturday night minimum stay is required and a maximum stay of 30 days is permitted. For travel to the North Pacific, a 6-night minimum stay is required and a maximum stay of 60 days is permitted. For travel to Japan, a 3 night minimum stay is required and a 45 day maximum stay is permitted. For travel to Australia and Latin destinations, no minimum or maximum stay restrictions apply. For travel to Canada, no minimum or maximum stay is required.
