Major airlines has slashed prices on fall and winter flights to London by hundreds of dollars. We found the best fares departing from New York City (Newark), arriving London, between November 15-December 14, and again from January 8-March 21. The best prices we found on Orbitz without taxes and fees included were $198 roundtrip. The final total with all taxes and fees will be just over $300. Wow!

You're most likely to get these deals by flying during the week, and staying over a Saturday night. However, we were amazed to even find some great prices during Thanksgiving holidays, and for travel over some select weekends! We expect these deals to end September 7.

To get the deals:

• Go to Orbitz and search for flights from "EWR" or to "LGW" between Nov. 15-Dec. 14 and Jan. 8-Mar. 21.
• When you see prices, you'll see the total with taxes and fees (around $300) and the "base fare" ($198).
• Be flexible: If you don't see the fares at first, try a few alternate dates. Our Travel Deal Experts found them immediately most times, but some dates took a few different searches.
